On December 8, 2025, an officer from the Sauk Centre Police Department was dispatched to an elementary school for a report of sexual abuse. Upon arrival, the officer met with Child A, 10 year old female fully identified in police reports. The officer transported Child A to the Child Advocacy Center for a forensic interview. During the interview, Child A disclosed Dacotah James Wenninger, [DOB REDACTED], had been sexually assaulting her. Child A disclosed the abuse happened on more than one occasion over different days.
During the interview, Child A disclosed several different forms of penetration and sexual contact the defendant committed against her. Child A disclosed the defendant also forced her to touch his private parts. Child A disclosed the sexual abuse started about a year prior. Child A disclosed the sexual abuse occurred at a residence in the City of Sauk Centre, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota. Child A and the defendant have a significant relationship as defined by Minn. Stat. 609. 341 Subd. 15. Complainant has reason to believe and does believe that all of the above information is true and correct.
The above facts constitute your complainant's basis for believing that the above-named defendant, on or between about the 1st day of December of 2023 and the 8th day of December of 2025, in the City of Sauke Centre, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, committed the offenses described herein.
