On December 20, 2025, Brooklyn Park police officers responded to suspicious activity near the address of [ADDRESS REDACTED], Brooklyn Park, Hennepin County. Officers arrived and were speaking with Demario Dajuan Armstrong, born on [DOB REDACTED], herein DEFENDANT, outside the residence. Officers then hear a female yelling that DEFENDANT had just assaulted her. Assisting officers went to speak with the female, K. M., herein Victim. Officers noted Victim had a bruise on her right cheek, was extremely emotional, and was speaking rapidly.
Victim stated she and DEFENDANT used to be in a relationship and have children together. Since they broke up in September, DEFENDANT no longer has permission to be at her home. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was in her home with a male friend when DEFENDANT somehow gained entry inside. Victim and the male were upstairs in her bedroom with the door shut when DEFENDANT barged through the door. Victim said DEFENDANT first assaulted her male friend and then began assaulting her after the male ran out. DEFENDANT hit Victim with his fists and threw her around the room.
During the assault, DEFENDANT was throwing the TV and other items around the room. DEFENDANT held Victim down on the ground while hitting her head stating, “B****, you think you are going to move on this fast,” and “I’m going to kill him.” DEFENDANT then stuck his fingers inside Victim’s vagina. DEFENDANT eventually stood up and went to Victim’s safe where DEFENDANT knew Victim kept a firearm. Victim stated DEFENDANT knew the passcode from when they were in a relationship. DEFENDANT retrieved the firearm and pointed it at Victim while threatening to kill her.
DEFENDANT finally began walking towards the front door and when Victim followed, DEFENDANT grabbed her by the hair and threw Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Shortly after, officers arrived and saw her yelling about DEFENDANT assaulting her. Victim’s firearm was a black Glock with a laser light. Victim then took officers to the downstairs basement where she showed how the window was closed but unlocked and the screen outside of the window had been removed. Officers noted fresh footprints in the snow. Officers had taken photos of the prints and later compared them to DEFENDANT’s boots.
The tread marks appeared to be a match. The officers who were speaking with DEFENDANT outside placed him under arrest. Officers noted bloody marks on DEFENDANT’s hands. In a search of DEFENDANT’s vehicle, they located Victim’s firearm. The firearm was a black Glock with a laser light. DEFENDANT is currently in custody.
