On or about September 5, 2025, Moorhead Police Department Officer J. Olson responded to a report of a motor vehicle theft that occurred at Murphy's Pub in Moorhead, located in Clay County, MN. The victim [NAME REDACTED] reported that he had parked his vehicle in the back lot of Murphy's Pub that night, and that it had been stolen a few minutes later. The victim further stated that the car was left unlocked with the keys in it. The vehicle was reported to be a 2011 GMC Sierra C1500. The victim was able to provide a video from the bar of the individual responsible stealing the vehicle.
In the video, and individual walks between several cars before getting in the GMC Sierra and driving off. Law enforcement was later contacted about a theft incident that occurred in Fargo, wherein the individual responsible left in the same 2011 GMC Sierra. The individual in that incident appeared to be the same individual that appears stealing the vehicle in the video of the theft. The individual was later identified as TREVOR DALE NELSON [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter the Defendant. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn.
