On October 28, 2025, law enforcement responded to the 1500 block of New Brighton Blvd in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota on a report of domestic abuse. Call remarks stated that the caller, herein Victim, was saying her boyfriend pointed a gun at her. Victim described it as a gun with a black handle. Victim identified her boyfriend as CHRISTOPHER ANDERSON, Defendant herein. Upon arrival, officers met with Victim, who stated she and Defendant got into an argument because he wanted her to drive him to St. Paul.
Victim was cooking dinner for herself and her ten-year-old daughter at the time and did not agree to drive Defendant. The argument escalated, causing the meal to spill over the stove and onto the floor. As Victim tried to clean it up, Defendant tried to take the broom from her. Victim [NAME REDACTED], at which time Defendant retrieved his pistol from his waistband, pointed it at Victim, [NAME REDACTED], "I will kill you b****." Defendant left the home shortly after that and was gone on police arrival.
Defendant has several prior convictions for qualified domestic violence related offenses, enhancing this to a felony level assault: ••-CR-••-••••, Violate No Contact Order ([DOB REDACTED]) ••-CR-••-••••, Threats of Violence ([DOB REDACTED]) Defendant is currently out of custody, and the State is respectfully requesting a warrant due to concerns for Victim's safety.
