On January 5, 2026, at approximately 2:44 A.M., city of Brooklyn Park Police Department officers were dispatched to a residence on the 7800 block of Colorado Ave. N., in the city of Brooklyn Park, in Hennepin County, in the state of Minnesota. Specifically, the call referenced an unwanted person, identified as JENNIFER EDEN STEWART, [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter Defendant, who would not leave and was breaking things. Officers arrived on scene, where they observed that the front door to the residence was open and damaged.
Officers made entry, where they met the reporting party, identified as MS, hereinafter Victim. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was his roommate, and Defendant was upset with him. Defendant had tried to kick his bedroom door down and made threats to kill him. Defendant then grabbed a hammer and started hitting the door with it. Officers observed damage to the door consistent with Victim’s report. Officers located Defendant in the other bedroom of the apartment, and Defendant was aggressive with officers when placed under arrest.
Defendant’s boyfriend, who was also on scene, stated that Defendant had been drinking this evening. Officers located a hammer matching the description provided by Victim. Defendant is in custody.
