Upon arrival, officers spoke with R. D. Who reported he had been out with friends drinking the night before and his friend SAMANTHA JEAN BROWN [DOB REDACTED]. R. D. Stated at some point in the night there was a disagreement between him and BROWN, leaving BROWN upset. R. D. Reported that after bar close, BROWN dropped him and a female companion off at his home, then she left to drop off other friends they were with that night. When R. D. Woke up, he noticed he received several text messages at 2:28 A.M. From BROWN. They generally expressed her anger, and one admitted she slashed R. D.'s tires stating, "I.a slash yout tires you f****** hoe" R. D. Had two vehicles with slashed tires.
His 2023 Ford Maverick had all four tires punctured, and a 2016 Mercedes-Benz CLS had both the driver's side tires punctured. Additionally, R. D.'s aunt, C. D., had her 2016 Ford Expedition in the driveway which had all four tires punctured. R. D. Provided officers with the quote he received to replace the tires on his vehicles totaling $1,537.39. Officers spoke with BROWN at her residence. It was noted that a silver multi-tool was observed in the center console of the vehicle BROWN drives. BROWN first denied texting R. D. Or slashing his tires.
BROWN eventually admitted to sending the text messages but stated she did not actually slash the tires.
