All of the conduct described herein occurred within the County of St. Louis, State of Minnesota, unless otherwise noted. On November 3, 2025, at approximately 7:26 P.M., Duluth Police Department Officer Lemenager responded to the Super One located at 15 South 13th Avenue East, Duluth, St. Louis County, Minnesota, on the report of a shoplifting incident. Upon the officer’s arrival, the loss prevention officer advised they observed the cooperative male, later identified as JACOB WILLIAM ONEIL REYNOLDS, [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter Defendant, had concealed a package of cookies in his jacket.
The value of the cookies was $5.22. Defendant exited the store without making any attempt to pay for the concealed cookies. The loss prevention officer stopped Defendant outside of the store, when a bottle of Naked juice was discovered to also be concealed in Defendant’s jacket sleeve. The value of the juice was $3.49. For a total value of $8.71. Officer Lemenager read Defendant his Miranda Warnings. Defendant acknowledged he took the items and did not have the means to pay for them. Defendant has previously been trespassed from all Super One property on September 29, 2025 for a period of one year.
That trespass notification included all Super One property, but the notice happened at the same Super One store located at 15 South 13th Avenue East. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 609.49, intentional failure to appear for duly scheduled court appearances may result in additional criminal charges, and in addition to any arrest warrant that may otherwise be issued by the Court.
