At around 1:55 AM on May 19, 2026, an officer came upon a 2026 Volkswagen Atlas bearing Florida 17FSTH stopped at a green light blocking a traffic lane at the intersection of Dale Street and Highway 36 West, Roseville, Rasmey County. When the squad approached the Atlas suddenly signaled and turned right onto the Highway 36 on-ramp. The officers stopped the Atlas and made contact with the driver, MALACIAH TRAMBLE [DOB REDACTED]. Tramble said he was using GPS and had to slow down due to a delay in the app giving proper directions.
The Atlas was a rental car. Tramble was unable to locate his rental agreement in the vehicle or on his phone as proof of insurance. An officer saw an unopened can of beer in the rear driver’s door. Tramble was eventually removed from the car so it could be towed. When asked if he wanted anything from the Atlas, Tramble said he would like an officer to get his wallet. An officer looked in the center console for Tamble’s wallet and found improperly packaged marijuana. An officer searched the car and found a pink taser in the driver’s door.
A crossbody bag on the floorboard behind the driver’s seat contained individually wrapped rock-like substances and individually wrapped purple substances. The officer believed the white substance was cocaine and the purple substance was fentanyl. Tramble was arrested. Officers recovered a wad of cash and bags of suspected methamphetamine and fentanyl from Tramble’s pocket. A further search of the Atlas revealed three gallon-sized plastic bags of suspected methamphetamine in the spare tire area. Mail in Tramble’s name was found throughout the Atlas.
The contents of the three large bags tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine and weighed 2.93 pounds in its packaging. Tramble was advised of his constitutional rights and agreed to speak to police. Tramble thought he had rented the Atlas for around 60 days. When told around 3 pounds of methamphetamine had been discovered in the trunk, Tramble asked for an attorney. Tramble has prior felony convictions for assault in the second degree, reckless discharge of a firearm, receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm by an ineligible person, stalking, and promotion of prostitution.
Tramble is currently charged with manufacture/deliver cocaine, possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, and manufacture/deliver heroin in St. Croix County. Tramble is currently charged with possession with intent to deliver amphetamine/methamphetamine and possession with intent to deliver cocaine in another case in St. Croix County.
