Probable Cause
On or about March 1, 2026 at approximately 1:56 A.M., Officer Blilie of the Blaine Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of 109th Avenue and Central Avenue in the City of Blaine, Anoka County, Minnesota. Prior to initiating the stop, the officer observed a vehicle make an abrupt stop at a traffic light, well over the crosswalk markings. The officer stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as ANTONIO DARNELL ROBINSON [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein. As Defendant was looking through his wallet for identification, the officer observed a permit to carry card.
The officer asked Defendant if he had a pistol with him and Defendant indicated that it was beneath his seat. The officer ran a routine records check on Defendant and learned that his permit to carry had expired. The officer located the pistol between the driver's seat and center bench seat.
