Jermonie Calvin Gerell Wright

Upon arrival officers met with K. S. M., who reported she had been assaulted by her boyfriend, JERMONIE CALVIN GERELL WRIGHT [DOB REDACTED]. K. S. M. Reported the argument started as verbal with WRIGHT threatening to "beat her ass." K. S. M. Stated she grabbed a knife and sat on her bed attempting to create distance between her and WRIGHT. WRIGHT then grabbed K. S. M and threw her to the ground, strangling her. K. S. M stated she could not breath, started to feel nauseas but remained conscious. Officer observed superficial abrasions on both sides of K. S. M.'s neck.

K. S. M. Stated she was video recording the altercation when she was in her room holding the knife. The video shows K. S. M. Holding the knife telling WRIGHT to leave her home. Wright walks toward K. S. M., smacks the phone out of her hand leaving the camera pointed at the ceiling. On video, K. S. M. Is head telling WRIGHT to get off of her, and in response WRIGTH can be heard telling K. S. M. "I'll beat the f*** out of you." Officers spoke to K. S. M's mother who reported she was home when she heard a verbal argument followed by what sounded to be a physical altercation.

She then observed WRIGHT to be on top of K. S. M. And K. S. M. Gasping for air. Officers located WRIGHT standing in the breezeway of the apartment entrance. WRIGHT stated he had an argument with his now ex-girlfriend and was waiting for a Lyft. WRIGHT denied physically harming K. S. M.
