That on or about August 14, 2025, Officer Congdon with the St. Louis Park Police Department was dispatched to a call originating from Bath and Body Works, located at 8364 Hwy. 7, in the City of St. Louis Park, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota, on a past action theft report. The Reporting Party, C. B., who is the manager of Bath and Body Works, informed Officer Congdon the past action theft occurred on June 26, 2025, in which two female suspects were later identified. That on or about June 26, 2025, U. F. And MIJUANNA DEVONNA JENNIFER MAPP (“Defendant” herein), entered Bath and Body Works.
U. F. Entered Bath and Body Works at approximately 6:25 P.M. Defendant entered Bath and Body Works at approximately 6:27 P.M. U. F. Concealed 2 candles in her bag, bypassed all points of sale without making a purchase, and exited the store at approximately 6:36 P.M. Each candle cost $26.95. Therefore, U. F. Stole $53.90 worth of candles, which were not recovered. Defendant concealed 5 candles in her bag, bypassed all points of sale without making a purchase, and exited the store at approximately 6:36 P.M. Each candle cost $26.95. Therefore, Defendant stole $134.75 worth of candles, which were not recovered.
U. F. Was identified by Loss Prevention through previous contacts. Officers were also able to identify U. F. Through law enforcement databases, previous contacts, and cross-referencing U. F.’s booking photo to the surveillance footage at Bath and Body Works. Defendant was identified by the City of St. Louis Park’s Police Department Crime Analyst and the Minneapolis Police Department. Officers reviewed the surveillance footage and Loss Prevention report. After reviewing the material, Officers confirmed the allegations against Defendant and U. F. At present, Defendant is not in custody.
