Musa Mohamed Ali

On 03/25/2026 at approximately 2000 hours, Officers responded to a report of an individual having a mental health crisis at 68** 90th Ave N in Brooklyn Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Officers arrived and made contact with the reporting party, Victim 1 herein. Victim 1 reported that her son, Musa Mohamed Ali, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, was sick and not taking his medication. Victim 1 reported that Defendant stabbed a door with a knife and attempted to attack her with the knife. Victim 1 reported that her daughters were able to get the knife away from Defendant, at which point Defendant left.

Officers then spoke with another known adult female, Victim 2 herein, who is Defendant’s sister. Victim 2 stated that Defendant threatened her with the knife and demanded her car keys, which she gave him. While Officers were still on scene, Defendant returned in Victim 2’s vehicle. Officers placed Defendant under arrest. Defendant is currently in custody.
