On 11-05-2025, at approximately 5:41 pm, law enforcement was dispatched to a report about a burglary that occurred at a residence located on the 4500 block of [ADDRESS REDACTED] North, City of Brooklyn Park, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota. Upon arrival, law enforcement encountered a female, Victim herein, who reported that her son, identified as Prince Michael Okolie [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, came to her home and kicked the back door open. Victim [NAME REDACTED] in the home with Defendant’s minor child.
Defendant approached Victim and took the minor child from Victim’s arms. Defendant then grabbed Victim’s dog and left the residence. Prior to leaving the residence, Defendant threatened Victim [NAME REDACTED] would burn the house down if she got him arrested. Victim was concerned that Defendant took his child with only a diaper on. Law enforcement learned that there was a pending custody issue. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was placed in her care while the child’s mother is in the hospital and that she filed for emergency custody of the child (see court file no. ••-CR-••-••••). Victim reported that she believed Defendant left the scene with his girlfriend, later identified as T. C. D. Law enforcement learned that a 2014 Nissan Rogue (MN license plate [PLATE REDACTED]) was registered to T. C. D. Law enforcement obtained a cell ping for Defendant’s cell phone that placed him in the area of [ADDRESS REDACTED] North.
Law enforcement further learned that Defendant and T. C. D. Live in an apartment located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] North. Law enforcement issued a KOPS alert and eventually located T. C. D.’s Nissan Rogue (MN plate JVH727) in the apartment parking lot located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] North. Law enforcement encountered Defendant in the hallway of the apartment complex. Defendant was arrested and remains in custody.
