On May 26, 2025, Coon Rapids Police Officer Maske responded to an address located on Zion Street NW in the City of Coon Rapids, Anoka County, Minnesota, to make contact with KRISTOPHER WILLIAM VANSICKLE, [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter defendant, who was listed as a homeless noncompliant predatory offender. Upon arrival, Officer Maske made contact with an unknown male who stated the defendant does not reside at that location and the male has been living at that residence for the past six months. Officer Maske reviewed the defendant's predatory offender registration file and saw there was a vehicle listed as belonging to the defendant.

New Hope Police later contacted Officer Maske and provided an adult females contact information. Officer Maske spoke with the female who was identified as the defendant's mother. According to the defendant's mother, the defendant has been staying with her since the beginning of the year. The defendant's mother said he is homeless and living out of his car but stays with her regularly at the apartment and he uses her address as a mailing address.

In further reviewing the defendant's predatory offender registration file, Officer Maske noted the defendant has not listed the New Hope residence as his primary or secondary address, and that the defendant has not completed any weekly check-ins as required by homeless predatory offenders. Officer Maske noted that last form submitted by the defendant was August 2024 which listed the Coon Rapids address.
The defendant is required to register as a predatory offender for a 2nd degree Criminal Sexual Conduct Conviction from Hennepin County in August 1999 and a subsequent conviction for possession of child pornography by a registered predatory offender in April 2009.
