On June 30, 2025, Minnetonka Police were dispatched to a past action theft report at Best Buy, located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] in Minnetonka, Hennepin County. The employee, J. M. Reported that on June 29, 2025, at approximately 5:33 P.M., a male entered Best Busy and began speaking with an associate in the camera section. The male was later identified as MIKHAI KIERKEGAARD VLADOWITZ [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein. Defendant selected a Nikon Z8 camera and then asked to view headphones. When the associate reached to grab the headphones, Defendant ran out of the store without paying for the Nikon camera.
The value of the camera is $3,699. On June 30, 2025, Eden Prairie Police had detained the same suspect at the Best Buy located on [ADDRESS REDACTED]. The investigator contacted Eden Prairie Police and learned they had identified the male suspect by his California driver's license. Defendant was driving a Home Depot rental truck (IA PTS283). The investigator reviewed the video surveillance and observed Defendant walking away with the camera before running through the parking lot and out of view. At present, Defendant is not in custody.
The State requests this complaint issue as a warrant as the Defendant's whereabouts are unknown at this time.
