Marlon Deshantrea Williams

On April 11, 2026, at approximately 1:00 A.M., officers were dispatched to a bar located in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, based on a report of a domestic assault. Officers arrived and located the reporting party, an adult female identified herein as “Victim.” Victim reported that the father of her child, MARLON DESHANTREA WILLIAMS [DOB REDACTED], had assaulted her in the bar. Victim provided a statement to police in which she reported that she had come to the bar that evening with her sister and friends.

She saw WILLIAMS when she arrived, but she initially ignored him. WILLIAMS later approached her and playfully grabbed her neck, but Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Victim then began dancing with her friends, and WILLIAMS appeared to get jealous. He approached her again and used both hands to strangle her, while also stating “B****, I’ll kill you.” Victim lost consciousness and fell to the ground. While speaking with police, Victim pointed toward the front of the bar and stated that WILLIAMS was currently standing outside.

Officers located and arrested WILLIAMS. He remains in custody. Officers observed and documented a scratch on Victim’s nose and redness on her neck.
