On or about July 27, 2025, at approximately 8:30 am, Richfield police officers responded to a domestic incident that occurred at a residence located on the 7600 block of 12th Avenue South, in Richfield, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Upon arrival, officers met with adult female Victim, [NAME REDACTED] at the residence. Victim stated her ex-boyfriend assaulted her earlier. Victim identified her ex-boyfriend as JOHNNY LE [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter “Defendant.” Victim and Defendant live together and have been in a relationship for approximately six years.
They have two children in common. Victim [NAME REDACTED], Defendant came home very agitated. Victim [NAME REDACTED] had been drinking the night before and was still intoxicated. Victim [NAME REDACTED] in the bedroom when Defendant came in and shoved her off the bed. Defendant then started kicking and punching her in the face and head. Victim attempted to call 911 but Defendant grabbed her phone and put it in his pocket. Defendant then pushed Victim [NAME REDACTED], followed her outside and continued to shout at her and be physical with her.
Victim eventually got her phone back and called police. Officers observed bruises on Victim’s arms, torso and face. Victim also stated approximately six days prior, on or about July 21, 2025, she was sleeping at home when she woke up and saw Defendant behind her on the bed. Defendant was penetrating Victim’s vagina with his penis. Victim yelled at Defendant to stop and he did. Victim stated she felt violated and has never consented to having sex with Defendant in her sleep. Victim stated Defendant apologized to her a couple days later.
Victim [NAME REDACTED] has been violent with her several times in the past few months.
