On 12/27/2025 a Plymouth Police officer observed a vehicle traveling down Fernbrook Lane near the intersection of Harbor Lane in Plymouth, Hennepin County. The officer ran the vehicle’s license plate and found that the registered owner’s driving status was cancelled. The officer then activated the squad vehicle’s emergency lights and siren and pursued the vehicle to initiate a traffic stop. The vehicle drove away from the officer at a high rate of speed and attempted to drive onto eastbound I-394. The officer then conducted a PIT maneuver to stop the vehicle, but it was unsuccessful, and the vehicle continued to flee and hit another vehicle while doing so.
The officer then conducted a second PIT maneuver and as the vehicle attempted to flee again, it went down the embankment and rolled over onto a collection pond. The officer then went down to the vehicle and assisted the sole occupant out of the vehicle. The driver was identified as Kejuan Raymond Watkins, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein. Defendant is currently in custody.
