On November 24, 2025, at 0022 hours, St. Paul police officers responded to 380 Jenks, St. Paul, Ramsey County, on a report of a male tenant who was threatening others with a knife. ZJCP, [DOB REDACTED], stated that she rents a room to Luis Miquel Zuna Camas, [DOB REDACTED]. He was playing loud music in his room and another resident told him to turn the music down. Zuna Camas became upset and grabbed a large kitchen knife and started swinging at others, including ZJCP. She feared for her life. Officers also interviewed WEA, [DOB REDACTED]. He stated that his roommate, Zuna Camas, has mood swings.
He confirmed that Zuna Camas was threatening everyone while holding a knife in his hand. He was telling them, “I will end it all.” Officers also spoke to FEH, [DOB REDACTED]. He stated that he resides at the address. He asked Zuna Camas to turn down his music. He then heard a loud commotion in the living room. He saw Zuna Camas threatening others with a knife. FEH grabbed a baseball bat to protect the others. Zuna Camas then stuck the knife in the wall and threw the knife to the floor. Zuna Camas went to his room.
Zuna Camas barricaded himself in his room and would not follow officers’ commands to come out. Officers used pepper balls and tasers to arrest Zuna Camas. In a post-Miranda interview, Zuna Camas said he did not know what happened. He said he went to bed after work and hear commotion. He said he hid in his closet in response to loud bangs that he heard. When asked if he threatened others with a knife. Zuna Camas did not answer. He also looked away and remained silent when asked why he did not exit his room for police officers.
