On January 30, 1998, Michael Wayne Peters [DOB REDACTED], was convicted of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the 1st Degree in Hennepin County Court File Number ••-CR-••-••••. As a result of this conviction, Peters was required to register as a predatory offender in accordance with Minnesota Statute Section 243.166. Peters is required to register until 01/30/2050. As a person required to register, Peters is required to register his primary address. On April 8, 2015, Peters signed Duty to Register Form acknowledging his duty to register.
On December 19, 2024, Peters submitted Change of Information Form updating his primary address from homeless in Saint Paul to Pathways Treatment Facility 613 2nd Street SW, Rochester, Olmsted County, Minnesota 55902. On August 8, 2025, Officer Norland of the Rochester Police Department conducted address verification on Peters. Officer Norland met with Pathway House staff who advised him that Peters had suddenly left the facility on 02/21/2025 against staff advice. Peters had not returned to the facility since that time.
Officer Norland called two current phone numbers listed on Peters address verification form and was not able to reach Peters over the phone. On September 10, 2025, Detective Burdick of the Rochester Police Department called Peters registered phone numbers and was also unable to reach him. Peters whereabouts are currently unknown. The state requests a warrant be issued for his arrest. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: YOU MUST APPEAR FOR EVERY COURT HEARING REGARDING THIS CASE.
