Complainant is Maple Grove Police Department Detective Kallan Nordby. Complainant states that on September 5, 2025, officers received a report of possible criminal sexual conduct involving a minor that attended Maple Grove High School. The report was received by Maple Grove Police Department officers while they were in the city of Maple Grove, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The reporting party originally identified herself on the phone as Tina Gordon. She reported that she gave E. H. A ride to school that morning and during the ride she overheard E. H. Telling her daughter that E. H.'s brother and father were groping her inappropriately the previous night. "Tina" stated that she approached E. H. About it and E. H. Was constantly crying and wouldn't answer if there was any inappropriate sexual contact occuring, but would only confirm that there was inappropriate touching occurring. "Tina Gordon" was found to be a fictious name, and the reporting party's identity was learned to be LEONDRA TINA WRIGHT [DOB REDACTED]. Officers relayed the initial report to MGHS SRO Nordby who initiated an investigation.
During the investigation, it was found that there was a previous report that involved another juvenile student who was on the cheerling team. That report was unfounded. The phone number that WRIGHT gave while under the name Tina Gordon matched the previous report, and the date of birth given were the same. On October 15, 2025, investigators spoke with WRIGHT at cheer practice at MGHS. Investigators discussed the previous unfounded report with WRIGHT, who advised she believed those were from E. H. And her mother, Jessica.
WRIGHT stated that Jessica puts all the complaints on her that are investigated by the school and that Jessica used to be on the booster club, but did not like the changes that WRIGHT was making to the cheerleading team. She believed that Jessica and E. H. Were behind the text messages. WRIGHT then admitted she was the one that made the sexual abuse report because she felt bad for E. H. WRIGHT stated that E. H. Wants to cheer and would be crying, so she couldn't help her any other way. WRIGHT admitted to giving a false name because she did not want E. H.'s mother to retaliate.
WRIGHT stated she had the reported conversation with E. H. Back in cheer camp in July of 2025, but didn't report it then because E. H. Seemed to be doing fine. On October 21, 2025, investigators spoke with E. H. E. H. Read the report and found it disturbing and stated none of it was true. E. H. Stated on the day of the allegation she rode to school with her brother and was not with WRIGHT. E. H. Denied having any conversations with WRIGHT about personal information. WRIGHT also filed an HRO petition against E. H.'s mother on September 29, 2025, where she mentions the text messaging incident as well as Jessica's watching cheer practice from her car and Jessica's making false reports to WRIGHT's job about drug use.
