On April 3, 2026, law enforcement officers were dispatched to a residence in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota on a report of a domestic assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke to L. P., who reported that on this evening, she and her significant other, JASON ASHLEY KINGSLEY [DOB REDACTED], attended a concert downtown. KINGSLEY consumed an excessive number of alcoholic beverages and wanted L. P. To drive his car home, but she was unable to, as she does not know how to drive a stick shift. KINGSLEY drove them home at a high rate of speed, causing L. P. To be fearful.
Once inside, L. P. Confronted KINGSLEY about his driving conduct, which angered KINGSLEY. They got into a verbal altercation, and KINGSLEY flipped the dining room table over and threw a chair across the room. L. P. Feared for her life and fled the house then called 911. L. P. Reported this isn’t the first time arguments have escalated, and KINGSLEY has physically abused her in the past. KINGSLEY was previously convicted of Violate Order for Protection on February 11, 2019 (court file 02- CR-18-6398) and Violate No Contact Order on February 11, 2019 (court file 02-CR-18-5629). KINGSLEY is currently in custody in the Hennepin County Jail.
