Between late November and early December 2025, Moorhead Police Narcotics Detectives initiated an investigation into Malcolm Jerrell Parker [DOB REDACTED](hereinafter “Defendant”) and Harold Bowen Jr. (Bowen), suspected of distributing cocaine and methamphetamine within the Fargo–Moorhead area. Both individuals maintain ties to Chicago, Illinois. Intelligence indicated that Defendant and Bowen Jr. Utilized Airbnb rental properties as temporary residences and as locations for narcotics distribution.
Evidence gathered through text messages, financial transactions, and surveillance linked Defendant to narcotics trafficking. Communications from Defendant’s known phone number revealed active coordination, including directives such as “go get the s***,” suggesting travel to acquire drugs. Conversations referenced quantities like “qp’s” (quarter-pound bags), and Defendant admitted responsibility for shorted amounts, confirming direct involvement. Financial records showed that between late October and early December 2025, an arrested party transferred over $11,000 via Cash App to an account identified as “Moonshine Parker.” Defendant also arranged meetings at Airbnb properties in the area to facilitate drug exchanges.
Bowen was closely associated with Defendant in these operations. His phone number was linked to a Cash App account under the name “Zaarush,” and communications referenced him by the nickname “Z.” Investigators obtained cell phone tracking data for both individuals, confirming their movements during the investigation period. These findings, combined with evidence of coordination, indicate Bowen played a significant role in facilitating drug transactions. During the first week of January 2026, Defendant and Bowen Jr. Began residing at an Airbnb located at 712 15th Street North, Moorhead, Clay County, MN, believed to be rented through January 25, 2026. On January 13, 2026, Detective A. Torgerson obtained search warrants for: ·The premises at 712 15th Street North, Moorhead, MN ·The persons of Harold Nathaniel Bowen Jr. And Malcom Jerrell Defendant ·Five Star Storage [APT REDACTED] at 2001 15th Avenue North, Moorhead, MN ·Any vehicle occupied by Bowen Jr. And/or Defendant at the time of execution On January 15, 2026, surveillance was conducted at the Airbnb.
At approximately 9:29 A.M., a white Honda SUV departed the residence, occupied by Defendant and a person suspected to be Bowen Jr. The vehicle was followed to Five Star Storage (2001 15th Avenue North Moorhead, MN), where Bowen Jr. Attempted to and did unlock [APT REDACTED], rented under Defendant’s name. At 9:36 A.M., law enforcement detained both individuals pursuant to the warrants. The search of the Airbnb yielded the following: ·gray backpack in the upstairs master bedroom contained a large zip-seal bag of suspected methamphetamine (approx. 683 grams including packaging), a digital scale, two boxes of sandwich baggies, and marijuana packaging.
