On April 15, 2026, starting at approximately 7:56am, the Wyoming Police Department was alerted to several reports of suspected burglaries that had occurred early that morning at the Oakwood Townhomes in Wyoming, Chisago County, Minnesota. Victim 1 reported that he woke up that morning to find that his 65-inch Roku TV had been taken from their living room wall, and that a purse and backpack had been rummaged through. Victim 1 advised that the TV had been mounted on the wall when he went to sleep the night before, and that he, his wife, and his two young children were asleep upstairs when the burglary had occurred.
Victim 1 stated that he had forgotten to lock the sliding patio door last night, and suspects that is how the individual got inside. Victim 2, who lives in a different townhome than Victim 1, reported that she had $200 missing from her purse and that items that had been inside her purse were found outside of it. Victim 2 also advised that a light was turned on downstairs that she had turned off when she went to bed. Victim 2 was upstairs asleep at the time of the alleged burglary. Victim 1 advised that the lock on the sliding glass door into her unit is broken and she forgot to put the piece of wood in the slider the night before.
Witness 1, another resident of Oakwood Townhomes, reported to law enforcement that after hearing about the break ins, she checked her Ring video, which captures both the front door and back sliding door of her unit. That footage shows that at 5:42am on April 15, 2026, a man with a backpack walked up to and attempted to open the front door to Witness 1's unit and the neighboring unit without success. Two minutes later, at 5:44am, the same man can be seen approaching the back of Witness 1's residence and trying to open the glass sliding door to Witness 1's unit.
The male appears to be 20-30 years old, approximately 140lbs, black or Hispanic with a black beard and mustache. The male was noted to be wearing a white beanie, eyeglasses, a hooded three-toned jacket, colorful pants with designs on it, and black shoes. Wyoming Police Department shared the video on social media in an attempt to identify the male. Multiple tips were received identifying the suspect as SANTANA MARK ROBINSON, [DOB redacted] ("Defendant" herein). Surveillance video from Casey's gas station, where Defendant is employed, shows Defendant arrive at Casey's on April 15, 2026 at approximately 8am wearing the exact same outfit seen in the Ring footage.
On April 17, 2026, a search warrant was executed at Defendant's residence. Law enforcement located in Defendant's bedroom the clothing and backpack Defendant was seen wearing in the Ring video, and the 65-inch Roku TV reported stolen from Victim 1's residence.
