Deputy Winter then turned around to follow the vehicle. After catching up to the vehicle, Deputy Winter read his front facing radar that the vehicle was traveling 78 mph on County Road 101. Deputy Winter activated his emergency lights and eventually conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle. Deputy Winter then approached the vehicle on the passenger side and identified the driver as DUSTIN JAKE CORRADI [DOB REDACTED]. Deputy Winter immediately observed CORRADI to have bloodshot and watery eyes, slurred speech, and the odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle.
Deputy Winter had CORRADI step out of the vehicle to conduct field sobriety tests and observed multiple indicia of intoxication while conducting those tests. That included a PBT with a result of 0.16. CORRADI was then placed under arrest and transported to the Becker County Jail. Once at the jail, Deputy Winter read the breath test advisory to CORRADI. CORRADI did not want to speak to an attorney and agreed to perform the breath test. The results from the DMT test were 0.16 BAC at 4:27 AM. CORRADI has one prior impaired driving conviction within the last ten years: a conviction for DWI in violation of Minn.
