NATHAN DONALD LEWIS, [DOB REDACTED], has the following prior domestic violence related convictions in the past three years. 62-CR-25-1017, Assault 5th Degree within 3 years of prior conviction, gross misdemeanor conviction, 3/13/2025 62-CR-23-2314, Threats of Violence, gross misdemeanor conviction 11/17/2023 On March 24, 2026, at approximately 7:21 A.M., Saint Paul Officers were dispatched to Regions Hospital, [ADDRESS REDACTED], Saint Paul, County of Ramsey, on an assault against hospital security.
When officers arrived, hospital security had LEWIS in handcuffs. CDR, hospital security, said LEWIS walked into the hospital naked from the waist down, carrying a blanket, and ran around. Staff decided to evaluate him for mental health. CDR grabbed onto LEWIS’s shoulder to stop him. LEWIS turned and elbowed CDR in the face, causing him to bleed from his nose. The right side of CDR’s face was swollen. After a Miranda advisory, LEWIS spoke to an officer. When asked why he was not wearing pants, LEWIS said he, “took them off” and was “scared if I didn’t show myself off, the virus would come off and hurt people.” LEWIS said the virus was “sitting dormant in the microbiome.” When asked about striking security, LEWIS said, “I tried not to…” He was “trying to get away.
