On August 19, 2025, at approximately 8:09 P.M., law enforcement was called to the area of the 2100 block of Division Street in the City of St. Cloud, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota on a report of a stolen bicycle. The complainant, [NAME REDACTED]L. B. (fully identified in police reports), indicated he was doing some exterior work for a nearby business and set his bicycle up against the front of the building while he went inside. A male, later identified as Alandis Devon Reed, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein, came into the store N. J. L. B. Was in and acted suspicious.
When N. J. L. B. Came back out, his bicycle was gone. N. J. L. B. Located the defendant with his bike about a mile away. He did not give the defendant permission to take his bike. N. J. L. B. Indicated he paid $1,200 for the bike, but its current value was approximately $799. Video footage from the incident location confirmed the defendant had taken N. J. L. B.'s bike from the incident location. Defendant was arrested for gross misdemeanor theft. In a search incident to arrest, police located a white sock which contained a crystal-like substance.
Defendant admitted the substance was methamphetamine. The substance later field tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed 3.42 grams. Methamphetamine is a Schedule II controlled substance. Defendant also had other various items on his person which did not belong to him. Complainant has reason to believe and does believe that the above information is true and correct. The above facts constitute your complainant's basis for believing that the above-named defendant, on or about the 19th day of August, 2025, in the City of St. Cloud, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, committed the offense described herein.
