On September 3, 2025 a Carver county Deputy was dispatched to a vehicle theft at [ADDRESS REDACTED] 20 in Hollywood Township, Carver County. J. N. Reported he had been contacted by McLeod County law enforcement about a missing tractor. J. N. Checked his shed and found the tractor was missing. The McLeod report indicates that on August 20, 2025 a possible stolen tractor was located on Babcock Avenue in Winsted Township. Two reporting parties wished to remain anonymous. The tractor is a 1968 John Deere 3020 with a bucket loader.
The tractor was taken to Jerry's Transmission in Lester Prairie. The value of the tractor with the bucket is around $15,000. J. N. Reported he believed Michael Eugene Helmbrecht (9-10-1990), hereinafter Defendant had taken the tractor. Defendant lives down the street and would have known of the tractor as J. N. Borrowed Defendant a gas can from the same shed a few weeks prior. An anonymous reporting party had told law enforcement that Defendant brought the tractor to their residence in McLeod but was instructed to leave.
