On February 21, 2026, around 2154 hours, officers responded to reports of a female overheard screaming “call 911!” at 36XX Stevens Avenue South in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Upon arrival, officers located the Victim in a neighbor's apartment. She told officers that she and her boyfriend, KALEM RASHAD WILLIAMS ([DOB redacted]), had just been in a fight. She pulled up her shirt and revealed a bite mark on her right shoulder blade. Police also saw wounds to her arm and scrapes on her knees.
The Victim reported that this incident was a continuation from an argument the prior day. According to the Victim, Defendant came back after assaulting her the previous day and spent the night. Defendant started causing issues, so she asked him to leave. The Victim reported that Defendant grabbed her with both hands and started pulling her around the apartment. She could not break free, so she grabbed a plate and struck him with it. Defendant continued to grab ahold of her and then bit her on the back.
Defendant also scratched her arm in the process. She ran out of the apartment with her with her 8-year-old child to her neighbors where police found them. Defendant fled prior to police arrival. Police reports list the Victim as 4’11” and Defendant as 6’8”. Officers also noted the Victim’s apartment to be in disarray with broken plates on the floor and a Christmas tree and lamp knocked over.
