On or about September 14, 2025, Minneapolis Police responded to a report of an assault in progress occurring on the 1200 block of Brook Ave SE, in Minneapolis in Hennepin County, Minnesota. A reporting party called 911 and reported that a male was assaulting a female. The female victim [NAME REDACTED] from the head, and the male was dragging the female through the building hallway and was actively beating her. A female could be heard screaming in the background of the call screaming: “he’s gonna kill me.” The male continued to drag the female down the stairs.
Female broke free and ran. The female appeared to be losing consciousness and was on the ground. Officers spoke with a known adult female, Victim herein. Victim reported to officers that she had been in a romantic relationship with CHASARAY GOENVER WALKER, JR. [DOB REDACTED], AKA CHASARAY GOENVER WALKER and CHASARAY GEONVER WALKER [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein. Victim was breaking up with Defendant. Defendant then began choking her and beating her. Victim [NAME REDACTED] on scene and was transported to the hospital.
Officers observed that Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Victim [NAME REDACTED]. Officers observed marks on Victim’s neck that appeared to officers that Victim had been choked or assaulted. Victim told officers that the marks were from where she had been strangled by Defendant who had also banged Victim’s head against the cement ground. Victim described that she blacked out. Due to concerns for Victim's safety and the whereabouts of Defendant being unknown, the State requests this Complaint issue as a warrant.
Defendant is out of custody.
