On November 23, 2025, MOHAMED SEED YUSSUF [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, claimed he was having a fentanyl overdose after being placed under arrest for an unrelated offense. Two police officers then escorted an ambulance carrying Defendant to the Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) in Hennepin County, Minnesota. Once inside HCMC, Defendant sat up on the stretcher and began yelling, thrashing around, and spitting. One officer pinned Defendant’s legs down to prevent him from kicking officers or EMS personnel, and a second officer pinned his left arm down.

Defendant spit onto the second officer, landing on his jaw, chin, and uniform. The State respectfully requests a warrant issue to protect public safety and ensure the Defendant’s presence in court.
