On or about January 31, 2026, at approximately 10:10 A.M., Minneapolis police officers responded to [ADDRESS REDACTED], Apt. XXX, in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, State of Minnesota, on a domestic abuse report. Upon arrival, officers spoke with an identified elderly male, S. W. J. [DOB REDACTED], Victim herein, who had dried blood on his head. The dried blood appeared to have come from a cut at the top back side of Victim's head. Victim reported that the evening before, his friend identified as ZACHARY SCOTT PINTOZZI [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, had come to the apartment.
Defendant has lived with Victim on and off for the past 3 1/2 years. Victim [NAME REDACTED] had been sitting on his bed when Defendant came into his room and the two began to have a disagreement. Defendant pushed Victim on his upper torso which caused Victim [NAME REDACTED] on the lava lamp. Defendant then left the apartment and because Victim [NAME REDACTED], apartment security called 911 for him. Afterwards, Victim laid down and fell asleep and although he heard officers knocking the night before, he was too tired to get up and answer the door.
Victim reported having congestive heart failure and had laid down after the assault because his heart was "acting up." Officers observed several drops of blood on the ground and the wall had a spot of blood that had dripped onto the floor. Photographs were taken of Victim's head injury, the blood on the wall, and the blood on the lava lamp. DEFENDANT has the following convictions for prior qualified crimes of domestic violence: on March 28, 2022, DEFENDANT was convicted of misdemeanor domestic assault in Court File No. 70-CR-21-1491, and misdemeanor DANCO Violations in Court Files No. 70-CR-21-11941, 70-CR-21-13995, and 70-CR- 21-14571. On April 5, 2022, DEFENDANT was convicted of a misdemeanor violation of a DANCO in Court File No. 19AV-CR-21-2085. On October 24, 2022, Defendant was convicted of felony Assault 4 in Court File No. 70-CR-22-24682 and Domestic Assault-felony in Court File No. 70-CR-22-8074. Defendant also has a pending 3rd Degree Controlled Substance-Sale charge pending in Court File No. 27-CR-26-6303 from date of offense March 12, 2026. A warrant is requested.
