On 12-25-2025, at approximately 5:57 pm, law enforcement was dispatched to a report about a domestic abuse at a residence located on the 2900 block of Pleasant Avenue, City of Minneapolis, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota. Upon arrival, law enforcement made contact with a female, Victim herein, who was emotional and crying. Victim reported that her ex-partner, identified as ISIDRO CAMACHO GALVEZ [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, strangled her and left with the title to her vehicle and the key.
Victim reported that Defendant pushed her to the floor, placed both his hands around her neck, and strangled her. Victim indicated that Defendant applied pressure while he had both hands around her neck and as a result her ability was impeded. Victim [NAME REDACTED] had his hands around her neck and strangled her for approximately five to eight seconds. Victim [NAME REDACTED] could not speak while Defendant had his hands around her neck and that Defendant stopped when her twelve year old son opened the bedroom door.
Victim [NAME REDACTED], did not feel safe, and that her neck was hurting. I KOPS alert was issued. At approximately 9:51 pm, law enforcement learned that Defendant returned to the residence. Law enforcement responded and located Defendant in a bedroom. Defendant was arrested and remains in custody.
