That on January 28, 2026, at approximately 2:37 P.M., officers stopped a vehicle on Wayzata Boulevard in St. Louis Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota for speeding and failing to stop for a stop sign. Officers spoke with the driver about the violations and observed the vehicle was occupied by several passengers, including ALLEN TEEAKO JENKINS, hereafter defendant. One of the passengers was determined to have multiple arrest warrants and was taken into custody. Another passenger was determined to be the subject of a KOPS alert from a nearby agency.
Officers observed drug paraphernalia within the vehicle. While arresting the above-referenced passenger on the warrants, defendant proceeded to flee on foot from the vehicle. Officers arrested defendant after a protracted foot chase. During a search incident to arrest, officers located several baggies on defendant that contained suspected controlled substances. In addition, officers located a baggie of suspected narcotics that defendant discarded during the foot chase. Defendant was determined to have multiple active felony arrest warrants.
The substances recovered from defendant were sent to the BCA for analysis and were determined to be 1.369 grams of methamphetamine,.082 grams of cocaine, and.682 grams of fentanyl. At present, defendant is not in custody.
