On or about October 30, 2025, Dilworth Police Department Investigator E. Hoversten responded to a report of a stolen IPhone 15, which was reported to be valued at approximately $800. The Victim [NAME REDACTED] had been stolen from their friends apartment in Fargo, ND, and reported that it had been pinging to the ecoATM machine at the Walmart in Dilworth, located in Clay County, MN. The phone was stolen by an individual who provided the ID card of ISIAH RICHARD HOPKINS [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter the Defendant.
The EcoATM machine additionally captured photos of the individual who sold the phone, who matches the individual on the ID provided. The phone was sold by the Defendant on or about October 24, 2025. The Defendant has prior theft related convictions, including a conviction for A Misdemeanor theft of $500- $1000 out of North Dakota dated from September of 2021. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 609.49., intentional failure to appear for duly scheduled court appearances may result in additional criminal charges, and in addition to any arrest warrant that may otherwise be issued by the Court.
