On September 18, 2025, Officers received a report of an assault that occurred on September 10, 2025, at 56* 131st Ave N, Champlin, Hennepin County. The reporting party, Victim herein, reported the following: On September 10, 2025, Victim [NAME REDACTED], Alia Shaneeza Manraj, [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, over to her home. While there, Defendant and Victim [NAME REDACTED]. At some point during the argument, Defendant threw a phone at Victim, [NAME REDACTED] in her face. Victim stated that upon impact she doubled over in pain and immediately began bleeding.
Victim stated that Defendant took out her own phone and began recording Victim. Victim showed the Officer the video taken by Defendant and in it Defendant is heard laughing. Victim [NAME REDACTED] went to the hospital and showed the Officer her medical paperwork. Victim’s medical examination found that Victim suffered multiple fractures of the anterior and lateral walls of the left maxillary sinus. Victim [NAME REDACTED] was referred to a plastic surgeon due to the extent of her injuries. The Officer also observed that Victim had bruising under both of her eyes.
The Officer also spoke with Victim’s boyfriend, Witness herein, who was present during the assault. Witness corroborated Victim’s story. On September 23, 2025, the Officer spoke with Defendant who admitted to throwing an object at Victim, [NAME REDACTED] in the face.
