On or about January 12, 2026, Kathryn Mary Braxton, [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter referred to as Defendant, came into the custody of the Scott County Jail, Shakopee, Scott County, Minnesota. Pursuant to being processed at the jail, it was determined that Defendant had an active warrant from the State of Wisconsin. Information from the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was obtained indicating that Defendant had an outstanding warrant as of December 4, 2025 for Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Owner's Consent 943.23(2) Class H Felony and Misdemeanor Theft 943.20(1)(a) Class A Misdemeanor (Court Case 2025CF228). The warrant was issued by Circuit Court Judge Elizabeth L. Rohl.
The State of Wisconsin, County of Pierce has indicated that it will extradite the Defendant on the charges. Through communication with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office as determined by name, date of birth and other identifying factors the individual in custody is in face the same individual wanted by the State of Wisconsin. The facts above constitute the Complainant’s basis for believing that the above named Defendant in the above named county was and is a Fugitive from Justice. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn.
