Otis Lee Smith

On March 22, 2026, Ramsey County deputies arrested Otis Lee Smith, [DOB REDACTED], for a warrant related to a domestic assault charge in 62CR26976. He remains in custody on that charge. On March 23, 2026, deputies responded to a report of mail theft at 3461 Kent, Shoreview, Ramsey County. DMR reported that an Amazon package had been left for him in the mail room on March 18, 2026. He had a picture of the package left in the mail room sent by the Amazon delivery person. He went to retrieve the package on March 19, 2026. The package was gone.

Security video showed a male taking the package on March 18, 2026, without permission. Deputies recognized the male to be Otis Lee Smith as they had just arrested him the day prior to the police report. Smith was wearing the same unique sweatshirt in the security video that he wore when deputies arrested him.
