On or about December 26, 2025 police were dispatched to Target, [ADDRESS REDACTED], Woodbury, Washington County on reports of a theft. Officers learned from loss prevention that a female, later identified as HALEY NICOLE CHRISTMANN [DOB REDACTED] (Defendant), brought a shopping cart full of merchandise to the self checkout. Defendant scanned the items, bagged them and placed them back in the cart. Defendant made no attempt to pay for the merchandise and then left the self checkout and exited the Target.
When Loss Prevention attempted to intervene and make contact with Defendant she ran to a red Volkswagen license plate [PLATE REDACTED] and threw the bags in the back and entered the passenger seat before the vehicle drove off. Other officers made contact with the Volkswagen, Defendant was in the passenger seat and upon officers stopping the vehicle uttered to let the other male occupants go as they had nothing to do with it. Inside the vehicle officers recovered $1584.93 worth of stolen merchandise from Target.
