Your complainant states that on October 1, 2025, at approximately 11:47 P.M., officers responded to the Holiday Station store located at [address omitted] in the City of Plymouth, Hennepin County, Minnesota, where they made contact with ZNR, [DOB redacted], who wished to report a domestic assault. ZNR was crying and stated that her boyfriend, JAMIN LOVETRELL BOWMAN, [DOB redacted], the defendant herein, pushed her down, pulled her hair, and grabbed her phone and purse. ZNR stated that the defendant stays with his sister at the Talus Apartments on Lancaster Lane, which is where ZNR was when the incident occurred.
ZNR stated that around 10:00 P.M., the defendant told her that she had an attitude. When she tried to leave the building’s stairwell, the defendant put both of his hands around ZNR’s throat and called her names while choking her. ZNR was able to breath and did not lose consciousness. After being choked, ZNR stated that she and the defendant were walking northbound on Lancaster Lane when the defendant threw her purse into the middle of the road, where it was run over by a vehicle. As they continued walking, ZNR stated that the defendant called her names and grabbed her by her hair, causing her to fall over.
When she fell, ZNR stated that the defendant removed her shoes from her feet. ZNR also stated that the defendant bit her. ZNR and the defendant have been in a relationship for four years, and ZNR reported that the defendant intimidates and threatens her when he is mad. In 2023, ZNR was hospitalized after the defendant reporetedly smashed her head into the floor. Your complainant observed what appeared to be faint tooth marks on ZNR’s hand and further observed that some of ZNR’s braids had been ripped out of her head.
Officers attempted to locate the defendant, but were unsuccessful. Officers located ZNR’s property strewn about Lancaster Lane, including her purse and shoes. Officers were unable to locate ZNR’s iPhone.
