On 08/20/2025, a HCSO detective reviewed and received a report of a theft, that had been submitted by Target Field security, that allegedly occurred at Target Field in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota that had allegedly occurred on 07/28/2025. It was reported that a male, later identified as Laurence John Charette, [DOB REDACTED] (“Defendant”) entered one of the stadium’s retail stores and removed three baseball caps valued at $35.00, $40.00, $45.00, and $49.00, for a total loss of $169.00 without paying for the items and without permission to remove the items.

Officers identified Defendant by comparing the video surveillance footage with jail booking photos. Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota that had allegedly occurred on 08/19/2025. It was reported that a male, later identified as Laurence John Charette, [DOB REDACTED] (“Defendant”) entered one of the stadium’s retail stores and removed two baseball caps worth $98.00 from the store without paying and without permission. Officers identified Defendant by comparing the video surveillance footage with jail booking photos.
