Levi Lucius Beals

On March 12, 2026, Metro Transit Police Department Officer(s) learned of an iPhone that had just gone missing from a bathroom at the Mall of America Transit Center located at 8240 24th Avenue South in Bloomington, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The reporting party, "Victim" herein, reported he ran after a male suspect after Victim realized his iPhone 17 Pro Max was missing. Victim [NAME REDACTED] in a restroom stall, on top of the toilet paper holder, before the next male, "suspect male," herein, used the same bathroom stall.

Victim washed his hands and then observed his iPhone was missing. Victim quickly returned to the bathroom stall to find his iPhone missing. Victim then ran after the suspect male before losing the suspect male at a nearby transit area. Officers were able to locate a male matching the description of the suspect male on a nearby transit platform. The suspect male consented to an officer looking in his backpack which was found to contain toilet paper. The stall where the iPhone went missing was notably missing toilet paper.

Under the toilet paper, the officer located an orange iPhone 17 Pro Max, which was consistent with the Victim’s stolen iPhone. The iPhone was found to belong to Victim [NAME REDACTED] at approximately $1,500.00. The suspect male was identified as Levi Beals [DOB REDACTED] and was arrested. Beals is currently in custody.
