Full-Scale Emergency Training Exercise

The purpose of a full-scale exercise like this is to practice what would happen during a real emergency. We want our police, fire, city departments and partners to be able to work together, communicate effectively and make decisions under pressure. The morning scenario involved a suspect fleeing on foot, 40 volunteer victims with different injuries, and a chemical leak. Our police and fire teams worked under a unified command structure to secure the scene, locate the suspect, triage patients and get them transported to safety.
