Mobile Medical Unit celebrates one year of community care

It's been great being out in community and meeting the people where they're at and being able to be in the different communities in Minneapolis that are struggling with the opioid use. So when we're here, meeting them where they're at in a respectful, caring, dignified way makes all the difference. We have seen over 4,000 encounters in over 900 medical visits. One was someone who was assessed and determined that he needed to go to the emergency room and went and did have congestive heart failure symptoms and then came back two weeks later after being hospitalized and released and came and said thank you.
