Mayor Frey, interim Police Chief Peterson provide updates on Sept. 2 shooting in Loring Park

The level of heroism that took place yesterday is practically unrivaled. The heroic nature that our tops exhibited deserves not just our greatest thanks, but also a deep understanding that these are the kind of dangers that they face day in and day out. Our officers ran toward extraordinary danger to protect others at our responsibility now is to take care of them and their families. Their actions were heroic.
