Metro Transit Wins Gold! APTA Rail Safety & Security Excellence Award.

At Metro Transit, we believe everyone who travels or works on our system deserves an experience that is safe, clean and welcoming. While our work continues, we are so proud to accept APDA's rail secure Gold Award, recognizing our collective efforts to intentionally act on this belief and make meaningful change. In recent surveys, 60 percent of white rail riders said they are more satisfied than they were a year ago. Things to our trip agents, their inspection rates are increasing.
