Looking to discover Bloomington Outdoors this summer, check out these great locations throughout the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. The refuge, managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, spans over 14,000 acres and offers 50 miles of trails along the Minnesota River from Bloomington down to Henderson. The Bloomington Education and Visitor Center, located in the northeast corner of the city near Mall of America, is a great starting point to learn more about the refuge, enjoy interactive displays and local art, grab a map and head out on the trails.
