MPD NICOLLET MALL SHOOTING PRESSER

And this morning, approximately just before 8.30 a.m., near the intersection of Knight Street South and Nicolet Mall, first precinct officers responded to the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they identified two adult males with gunshot wounds. Preliminary information indicates that a 25-year-old man was meeting with a suspect when that escalated, gunfire occurred at a 25-year-old man was struck by gunfire. A 44-year-old man who was in the area working at the time was also struck by gunfire.
