Dakota County Attorney’s Office — Victim-witness team supports victims of crime

My name is Kelly and I'm the supervisor of the Victim Services Program in the Dakota County Attorney's Office. We assist the prosecutors who handle the cases that we are charging against adult offenders or juvenile offenders. And our role is really to make sure that the victims and witnesses of those crimes are informed about their case. We also provide emotional support because crime usually has an impact on people emotionally.
