Hello, I'm Kathy Keena, the Dakota County Attorney. As County Attorney, one of my top priorities is securing the rights and protections that are guaranteed to crime victims under state law. As a crime victim, you have several important rights, including the right to be advised of and provide input on plea offers, the right to provide a victim impact statement at sentencing, and the right to request monetary restitution for any losses you suffered as a result of the crime. The Dakota County Attorney's Office has a staff of dedicated prosecutors and victim advocates who will safeguard your rights and who will stand by you and assist you in navigating the criminal justice system.
